Wings

  • 4 lbs Wings
  • 4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Coarse Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese The type that comes out of a shaker can
  • 2 tbsp neutral oil

Instructions

Air Fryer Instructions

  • Add wings to a bowl
  • Add the garlic powder, salt, black pepper, parmesan cheese, and oil, and mix it all around. Make sure that the seasoning is sticking to the chicken and not to the bowl.
  • Add the wings to an air fryer in a single layer at 375F for 20-25 minutes. There is no need to preheat the air fryer, and also you should flip the wings after 13 minutes.
  • When the chicken is cooking, make the garlic butter. Combine 2 tablespoon melted butter with 1 teaspoon of fresh minced garlic. Once the wings are done, baste or drizzle the garlic butter over the wings

Oven Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400F
  • Add wings to a bowl
  • Add the garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and oil, and mix it all around. Make sure that the seasoning is sticking to the chicken and not to the bowl.
  • Add the wings to a wire rack on an extra large baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes. Increase the oven temperature to 425F and cook for an additional 11-13 minutes on the top rack.
  • Once the Wings have finished cooking, add the melted butter, garlic, and parmesan cheese to a bowl. Coat all of the wings with this sauce.

Notes

The one important thing to note about the difference between the air fryer recipe and the oven baked recipe is that I do not bake the parmesan on to the wing if I am using the oven method. I add the parmesan in the garlic butter step when I am baking them.
