Ricotta Pizza

A delicious white pizza made with ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and pecorino cheese.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Flatbreads Naan or Garlic Naan works best
  • 12 oz Whole Milk Ricotta
  • 2 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 8 oz Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 cup Pecorino Romano Cheese (plus a little extra) Fresh Parmesan also works
  • salt and pepper about 1/4 tsp of each

Instructions
 

  • Combine ricotta cheese, garlic, 1/4 tsp sea salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper, and pecorino cheese in a bowl.
  • Lay the flatbreads on a baking sheet, and distribute the ricotta mixture evenly on all pizzas. Top with mozzarella cheese, a pinch of black pepper, and a little more of the shredded pecorino.
  • Bake at 375F until bubbly! About 10-12 minutes.

Notes

If you want to make this recipe on a regular raw pizza dough, you will likely not need as much of the ricotta mixture. I also recommend pre-baking the dough slightly. I love using Naan as pizza dough because it comes out tasting like my own personal brick oven pizza.
