These delicious baked brie, jam, and prosciutto crescent rolls are the ultimate creamy, sweet, and savory appetizer. They take about 5 minutes to make and 15 minutes to bake.
Optional: If substituting caramelized onions for the prosciutto, you will need:
1onion
1tbspsalted butter
1tbspolive oil
1/4tspsea salt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350F
Cut your brie into 8 slices. Do not make the slices too thin.
If using Caramelized Onions., first, cut your onion in half, and then create thin slices from each half. I cook these onion slices in 1 tbsp of olive oil and 1 tbsp of salted butter. Add 1/4 tsp of salt to the onions and then cook on low heat for about 45 minutes or until all onions are a dark golden brown. Stir frequently while they are cooking. Put them into a small bowl once they are done cooking.
Open your crescent roll package and unroll your first crescent roll. Spread out the roll so that it is a little wider and thicker, while still keeping the shape of a long triangle. You can use your hands to do this.
Spread some apple jelly on the entire inside of the roll.
Wrap a piece of prosciutto around a slice of brie. Place it on the bigger side of the crescent roll and roll until you reach the point. Place it on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Bake for 14-15 minutes
Once the rolls are done baking, add a thin coating of apple jelly to the tops and enjoy!
