Easy Fried Fish Sliders

There’s something about a good fried fish sandwich that just hits the spot, but sometimes a full sandwich feels like a commitment. That’s where fried fish sliders come in. They’re smaller, easier to serve, and perfect for everything from casual dinners to game day spreads. Best of all, they come together quickly without sacrificing flavor or crunch.

Easy Fried Fish Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls with Mango Slaw

Easy Fish Sliders

Easy fried fish sliders are the kind of recipe that feels indulgent without being complicated. They’re crispy, flavorful, and endlessly adaptable. They are everything you want in a crowd-pleasing dish. Golden fish nuggets get tucked into soft Hawaiian rolls and topped with a bright mango slaw that adds crunch and freshness in every bite. They come together quickly, but taste like something from a beachside food truck.

The buttery sweetness of Hawaiian rolls pairs beautifully with fried fish, while the mango slaw adds freshness and a tropical twist that keeps every bite balanced and flavorful. These fried fish sliders strike that ideal balance: crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, all tucked into a soft bun with just the right toppings. They’re:

  • Quick to make with 5 simple ingredients
  • Great for sharing or portion control
  • Customizable with sauces and toppings
  • Perfect for any occasion, from weeknights to parties

How to Make Easy Fish Sliders

1. Prep the Fish
I am using fish nuggets for these because they are already the perfect size. I buy these from Trader Joe’s and they are delicious. They have a great batter and bake up easily.

2. Make your Slaw
Open up the bag of shredded cabbage and add in half a bottle of Mango Vinaigrette. Mix to combine. Let it wilt down a little bit as you build your sliders.

3. Prepare your Bread
Slice open the slider rolls and gently glaze the top of the rolls with some of the mango vinaigrette. Bake them in the oven at 375F for 7 minutes or until they get a golden brown top.

4. Build your Sliders
Remove the bread from the oven, spread tartar sauce on the bottom of the rolls, add a nugget on each roll, followed by a generous amount of cole slaw. Add the top of the roll. Enjoy.
