Baked Spanakopita Pasta
Ever since I tried the Baked Feta Pasta dish by Liemessä, I have been inspired to bake feta as much as possible. I started to think of other dishes that I love that have feta cheese and one that comes to mind is Spanakopita! I thought, I love Spanakopita, I love Pasta…so why not make a Baked Spanakopita Pasta!
After trying it out, it was so delicious! I recently asked in my instagram stories about what dishes you would like to see me make, and “easy pasta dishes” was a popular answer so that makes me even more excited to share this!
What does spanakopita mean?
Spanakopita is a traditional Greek dish made with spinach, feta cheese, and seasonings baked in phyllo dough.
Ingredients for Baked Spanakopita Pasta:
1 brick of feta cheese
16 oz bag frozen spinach, thawed and drained! Squeeze all water out of it as much as you can!
1.5 tbsp chopped fresh dill
4 green onions, white and light green part sliced thin
1/2 cup extra virgin Olive Oil
2 cloves garlic diced thin
1 tsp greek oregano
Juice of 1 lemon
10 oz of your favorite pasta
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450°F
2. Add all ingredients, except for the pasta, to a baking dish, and cook for 30 minutes.
3. While the Ingredients are baking, boil pasta, drain, and set aside.
4. Combine baked ingredients with pasta and Enjoy!
What do you eat with spanakopita?
Spanakopita usually makes a great side dish for large dinners next to a main meat dish. But, it can easily be the main dish. This Baked Spanakopita Pasta is great on it’s own!

Ingredients
