Thanksgiving Leftover Roll Ups

Thanksgiving Leftover Roll Ups! Have you seen those gobbler sandwiches that are popular this time of year? You can easily make this yourself with your leftovers! You’ll want to save this one for later! 🦃

These thanksgiving leftover roll ups have some cranberry goat cheese added to my favorite parts of Thanksgiving Dinner. Then, I rolled them up in pizza dough, baked it all until hot and crispy, and then drizzled it with my favorite gravy!

How long are Thanksgiving leftovers good for?

The short answer is 3 to 4 days. The long answer is that they are good for 3 to 4 days as long as they have been properly handled. That means they have been refrigerated when necessary.

How do you avoid Holiday anxiety or Holiday burnout?

Honestly, you just have to choose your priorities carefully.

I spoke a little bit about this on my instagram story this morning, but I feel super overwhelmed this week and not just because it’s a holiday week. As a food blogger, there is so much pressure to pop out tons of new recipes during the Holidays and honestly, I just couldn’t do it this year. In order to get your holiday recipes and content ready to post before the holidays, it means you need to start cooking for those holidays in Late Summer. So, if I did that I would spend the last 3.5 months of the year eating Holiday food and I just was not feeling that journey for myself this year. I did, however, make this one lone leftovers recipe, and I have a new Potato Latke recipe coming out soon.

Ingredients:
Thinly sliced turkey
Cranberry Goat Cheese(or any cheese)
Stuffing
Spinach
Gravy
Pizza Dough
Cranberry Sauce (if your cheese doesnt have cranberries in it)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425F
  2. Roll out your dough into a rectangle shape
  3. Add some gravy on top of the dough, then add turkey all over, followed by slices of the cranberry goat cheese, spinach, and stuffing. To be honest, I only added the spinach because I love seeing green in my food, so this is optional. Feel free to add in any other ingredients you want.
  4. Roll up the dough like a stromboli.
  5. Cut into 1.5” slices and place each slice on a parchment paper lined baking sheet a few inches apart because the dough will expand.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until the outside of the dough is golden.
