Strawberry Butter
Strawberry Butter! It’s the perfect little way to jazz up your your toast! I made this for my partner because she leaves super early in the morning for work and usually doesn’t have time to eat more than a piece of fruit! This is quick enough and ensures she at least gets a little fat to hold over over to the next meal! You can make this with or without the orange zest but it is a really nice BRIGHT addition to this butter!
Also, making flavored butter and putting them in little butter dishes is a really cute holiday gift idea for neighbors and friends! I love making herb butters filled with garlic and herbs to make any toast taste fancy! Or just a simple maple butter to put on pancakes and waffles! We are spending a lot of time indoors this holiday season so I am trying to make each meal just a little bit more special!
How do you make strawberry butter from scratch?
Combine softened butter with preserves and an additional sweetener like maple syrup or confectioners sugar.
